The gaze and reality of the children of Africa

"I eat, you eat, he eats, we eat, you eat, they DON'T." And more than words also say it almost fifty photographs that make up the exhibition "Children of Africa" with which Save the Children shows the reality of Africa through the eyes of its children.

The photos on display are, for the most part, of children from Ghana, Ivory Coast, Benin, Togo, Angola, Mauritania, Tanzania and Nigeria. They portray the challenges and challenges these children face in their daily lives. The aim of the exhibition is to make Africa and its children known. Its author, the Belgian Jochen Schell, has captured with his lens the problems that children face in these countries, throughout a trip through much of the African continent.

The funds raised by the exhibition Children of africa will go to Save the Children's "Rewrite the Future" campaign, dedicated to the defense and promotion of children's rights around the world. Specifically to educational programs for children who suffer the consequences of armed conflicts in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and in the Ivory Coast. The exhibition arrives in Madrid, Spain, and stays until May 29 in the "Espacio Ronda", Ronda de Segovia nº 50. I think it is a very opportune visit for all the children.Vilma Medina.
